Many individuals experiencing substance use and addiction problems also experience mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder and other emotional issues that are interwoven and overlap their substance use/addiction. The Changing Pointe program is uniquely designed to provide dual disorder treatment, e.g., treatment for substance use and mental health issue(s) simultaneously, and our mental health and addiction therapists work closely together to provide a coordinated plan of treatment for individuals experiencing dual disorders.
The Changing Pointe also provides an additional 2-4 weeks of residential treatment at our sister facility, CenterPointe Hospital, location in St. Charles, MO.
