CD Therapist – VALOR:  Part-time weekends and PRN.  Master’s Level Clinical Therapist to specifically work with our Valor and First Responder clients. Our Clinicians work with our clients through various mental health stages assisting patients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs. Responsibilities are centered on group and specialized therapy services as well as consultation, education, crisis intervention, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Mobile Assessors:  Our mobile assessors work on-call for our Assessment and Referral Departments in Liberty and North Kansas City.  Department services include mental health/substance abuse assessment, pre-admission screening and admitting services, and/or information and referral to an appropriate level of care.

Unit Social Workers:  PRN.  This position functions as an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; completion of psycho-social assessment, participation in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, facilitation of family meetings, 1 on 1 therapy with patients, and discharge planning.

Medical Records Clerk:  Full-Time.  This position will function as an integral part of our multidisciplinary team for our new Liberty location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: scanning, prepping, analysis, release of information, data entry, and data abstraction. Additional responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day operations in the Health Information Management Department.

 

INPATIENT NURSE PRACTIONER

ARNP:  Full-time position – PMHNP required.  This position will provide expert knowledge in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for behavioral health patients.  Assists in the admissions and providing physical examinations and in the ongoing care of psychiatric patients.  The ARNP acts as an autonomous practitioner providing telephone triage and clinical assessment services to patients presenting with mental health illness/conditions and/or their relatives resulting in a safe and appropriate clinical decision. The NP facilitates the provision of accurate healthcare information, self-care advice and where applicable, referral to the appropriate level and location of care in order to meet the therapeutic requirements of the patient.

Assessment RN:  Full-time weekends.  Sat/Sun (8A-12:30A).  This position works within our Assessment and Referral Department.  Services include mental health/substance abuse assessment, pre-admission medical screening and admitting services, and/or information and referral to an appropriate level of care.

Business Office Specialist:  Full-time.   This position’s primary responsibilities include financial assessment of patients, determination of ability to pay, collection of deposits, negotiation of payment arrangements, securing financing of self-pay liability, identification of funding sources; some tracking, monitoring and reporting, and verifying benefits and eligibility.

Behavioral Therapist:  PRN.  This position provides medically based outpatient group psychotherapy, education and therapy services for those struggling to manage mental illness and addictive disorders.
